Experiment Omega Chase is a large-scale brute of a miniature — a massively muscled humanoid figure fitted with heavy mechanical augmentations that tell a grim story of arcane or technological experimentation gone very far. The sculpt features a thick iron collar bolted around his neck, cylindrical exhaust ports rising from his back, heavy mechanical bracers on both wrists, and studded ankle restraints that suggest this creature was once — or still is — intended to be contained. His chest is partially covered by a riveted armour plate, and a broad belt cinches his waist. Despite the mechanical trappings, his face retains an unsettling human quality, with a flat, heavy-browed expression that sits somewhere between confused and furious.
The pose is aggressive and purposeful — wide-legged, arms raised and ready, knuckles forward. This is not a creature that is skulking or posturing; it is advancing. The sheer scale of the sculpt (supplied on a large 51mm base) makes it read immediately as a threat on the tabletop, filling space and demanding attention in the way only a truly well-proportioned large creature miniature can. It fits naturally wherever size and menace matter: as a constructed monstrosity, an escaped experiment, or an arcane-enhanced enforcer.
This miniature is a genuine highlight for Dungeon Masters running Eberron campaigns, steampunk-flavoured settings, or any adventure that features rogue artificers, illegal magical experiments, or arcane augmentation gone catastrophically wrong. Painters will find rewarding detail work in the mechanical components — pipes, rivets, bolts and brackets — alongside broad muscular surfaces that respond beautifully to contrast paints and washes. It makes an equally compelling display piece, with enough visual interest across the whole sculpt to reward close inspection.
This is a multipart miniature — the model assembles from several components, giving you a crisp, clean result on a large 51mm plain base. A no-base option is also available for adventurers who prefer to mount it on their own custom basing setup.
- Adventurers who love painting mechanical detail work: pipes, bolts, rivets and armour plating
- Dungeon Masters running Eberron, steampunk, or artificer-heavy campaigns
- Anyone who needs a large, imposing humanoid creature to anchor a big encounter
- Display collectors drawn to expressive large-scale character sculpts
- Players building out a rogue warforged, golem, or construct encounter table
Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to retrieve a journal from an abandoned artificer's tower on the edge of the city. The tower is silent — until the third floor, where claw marks on the walls lead to a reinforced door hanging off its hinges. Beyond it, Experiment Omega Chase has been circling the same room for three days, collar sparking, restraints loosening bolt by bolt, and it has just heard the party open the stairwell door.
