Experiment Omega by Epic Miniatures

Born in a mad artificer's laboratory and kept alive by clanking machinery bolted directly to flesh, Experiment Omega is what happens when ambition outgrows ethics — and the bolts start showing.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Experiment Omega cuts an imposing silhouette — a massively built humanoid figure whose organic bulk has been grafted with arcane-industrial machinery at every joint. Bolted plates, gear-studded fittings, articulated mechanical fingers, pressure canisters mounted across the shoulders, and heavy spiked ankle shackles tell the story of a creature that was made, not born — or at least, made again. The hunched, forward-leaning stance conveys barely contained aggression, shoulders rolling forward like a bull readying a charge.

The sculpt rewards painters who enjoy contrast work: smooth, taut muscle sits alongside riveted metal panels, coiled tubes, and the kind of mechanical detail that drinks up washes and dry-brushing alike. Whether you choose a pallid flesh tone with rust-eaten ironwork or go full Frankenstein green with burnished brass fittings, the detail depth gives you plenty to work with across every surface.

This is a large-base miniature — supplied on a 51mm plain base — which gives it the table presence to anchor an encounter or dominate a display shelf. The multipart design allows for a clean, well-balanced final assembly that holds together solidly once complete.

Suits adventurers who:

• Run steampunk, Eberron, or arcane-industrial campaigns and need a genuinely threatening enforcer
• Want a BBEG or elite henchman with a distinctive silhouette that players won't forget
• Love painting contrast-rich sculpts that reward every technique from glazing to stippling
• Are looking for a miniature that works as a constructed golem, flesh golem, warforged experiment, or aberrant creation depending on the campaign

Encounter Hook

The party has tracked the rogue artificer to the lower levels of the foundry — but the forge doors grind open before they reach the workshop, and Experiment Omega steps through the steam, chains dragging on the grate floor, mechanical hand flexing slowly. The artificer's voice echoes from somewhere above: "Omega doesn't take orders any more. It just takes."
