This is pose 03 of the Exiled Monk range from Great Grimoire, and it captures a monk at the absolute peak of their martial form. One knee is raised in a powerful crane stance, the kicking leg extended mid-technique. His arms are open — one reaching forward, one raised and curved — channelling ki with the focused intention of someone who has trained for decades and spent half that time unlearning the rules. A rope belt cinches loose travelling robes at the waist, with bandaged shins and simple footwraps completing the look of a wanderer who fights with everything and carries almost nothing.

The sculpt reads equally well as a Way of the Open Hand practitioner landing a Stunning Strike, a Way of the Sun Soul monk releasing radiant energy, or a seasoned NPC rival your party has spent three sessions trying to track down. Bare-chested, bald, and carved with intent — this is a miniature that tells a story before it even hits the table.

Perfect for adventurers who:

• Are playing a monk PC and want a mini that captures the class's kinetic energy
• Need a wandering martial arts master, temple guardian, or exiled sensei NPC
• Want a display piece that rewards a careful paintjob — the musculature and fabric folds reward highlighting beautifully
• Are building an encounter around a rival warrior or mysterious stranger

Encounter Hook:
The party are three days out from the city when they spot a lone figure practising forms on a clifftop at dawn — moving through techniques so precise that even the fighter stops to watch. As the final kick sends a loose stone skittering into the void below, the figure turns. He knows why they are here. He has been waiting.
