Evil Wizard (Merakh) by Primal Collectibles

He does not cast spells so much as command them — arms outstretched, a colossal cobra rearing at his back, Merakh makes clear that power was never something he borrowed from the weave, but something he took.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Merakh is a masterclass in villainous presence. Sculpted from the Tales of Kreyvos setting by Primal Collectibles, this evil wizard stands in full arcane command — robes elaborately trimmed with filigree scrollwork, a tall cylindrical crown upon his brow, and both hands raised in the mid-gesture of unleashing something terrible. The centrepiece of the sculpt is the enormous cobra that rises and spreads behind him like a living cloak, its hooded silhouette framing Merakh in precisely the kind of theatrical menace that makes players sit up straighter at the table.

The face is sharply rendered — a thin beard, heavy brow, and the cold, calculating expression of someone who has never once doubted their own superiority. His belt clasp and collar medallion are richly detailed, and the flowing outer robe falls in heavy, controlled folds that suggest ceremony as much as combat readiness. The scenic base beneath him is strewn with shattered stone — crumbling masonry that implies the wreckage of something, or someone, that stood in his way.

Available at 32mm scale with your choice of plain base, decorative scenic base, or no base at all — and for painters and collectors who want maximum detail, Merakh is also available at 75mm scale, where the filigree robes, cobra scales, and facial expression all reward a focused brush and a patient hand.

Suited to adventurers who:

• Need a campaign-defining BBEG with genuine visual authority at the table
• Want a centrepiece villain that reads as powerful from across the room
• Are painting a desert empire, yuan-ti cult, or serpent-themed arcane faction
• Paint display miniatures and want a character with layered sculpted detail to work into
• Are building a villain roster with distinct personalities rather than generic evil mages

Encounter Hook

The party has tracked the source of mass memory-wipe afflictions to the grand palace of a supposedly benevolent vizier. When they finally breach the inner sanctum, they find Merakh standing at the centre of a ritual circle, arms wide and cobra rearing, having just completed the erasure of an entire noble bloodline from the collective memory of the city. He turns, quite unhurried, and asks — genuinely curious — which of them would like to go first.
