Description

He tips his bowler hat with a grin that splits his face ear to ear — and the knife in his other hand tells you this visit isn't social.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Stringor is the stuff of childhood dread made manifest: a diminutive, bow-tied figure whose cheerful appearance masks something deeply, gleefully wrong. Sculpted with an exaggerated caricature style that makes him simultaneously absurd and unsettling, this miniature captures every detail of the character — the wide rictus grin, the clenched fist clutching a cleaver-like knife, the battered bowler hat, and the buckled boots. His scenic base tells its own grim story, strewn with a sleeping child, a stitched ragdoll, and a small toy chest — remnants of nurseries he's visited before yours.

Details

This is a display-scale miniature with real presence on the shelf or the battlemat. Whether you're running a horror-themed TTRPG one-shot, building a Ravenloft-style encounter, or adding a genuinely unsettling piece to your collection, Stringor earns his place. Three render angles are shown — front, side, and three-quarter — all unpainted in dark red resin, highlighting the sculpt's exceptional surface detail throughout.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run horror-inflected D&D or TTRPG campaigns where the monster shouldn't look like a monster
  • Want a boss villain whose design unnerves players before the stat block even comes out
  • Collect display-scale character miniatures from dark fantasy and horror ranges
  • Love painting projects that reward fine detail work — the face alone is a painter's gift

Encounter Hook:
The village children have been disappearing one by one, always from locked rooms, always leaving behind a single toy placed neatly by the door. Tonight the party is keeping watch in the youngest daughter's bedroom — and just after midnight, something begins to giggle softly inside the wardrobe.

Stringor is part of the Legacy of Blood range by Primal Collectibles, printed at 32mm scale. The model and its detailed scenic base are supplied as separate pieces for easy assembly with glue. The base is very much part of the composition — the sculpt interacts with it meaningfully, and the two are designed to be displayed together.

Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. We take care to remove supports before dispatch, though minor marks are an occasional reality of the printing process and can be cleaned up easily with standard hobby tools.
