This is the Evil Altar 01 from Novaminis — a weighty, atmospheric piece of scatter terrain that brings the cold dread of a dark-god's shrine to your battle map. Raised on a broad flagstone plinth and approached by wide ceremonial steps, the central stone block bears cracked, ancient carvings worn smooth by centuries of dark devotion. A row of arched niches along the front face holds human skulls — silent witnesses to whatever rites were once performed here. Flanking the structure, a cluster of sharp stone spikes juts from the earth like the teeth of something buried beneath.
The sculpt captures the look of a Mesoamerican-inspired sacrificial altar — the kind your party might find deep within a forbidden jungle temple, beneath an evil cleric's sanctum, or at the heart of a cult's hidden underground complex. It works equally well as an objective marker, a ritual focus, or simply a centrepiece that tells a story before a single die is rolled. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf.

Scaled to 32mm. If you need a different scale, get in touch and we'll do our best to help. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use as-is for an unpainted stone aesthetic. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all fine-detail terrain, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
