The Ettin is one of the most chaotically dangerous giant-kin in the monster catalogue — not because of cunning, but because of sheer, bickering, unstoppable ferocity. Each head operates on its own impulses, argues with the other mid-combat, and yet somehow the body keeps swinging. This sculpt captures that perfectly: a barrel-chested brute with one hand gripping a broad axe and the other clutching a spiked morning star, both heads snarling in different directions as if mid-disagreement about which adventurer to flatten first. The stitched hide trousers, crude belt, and bare feet speak to a creature that lives wild and hits hard — deeply faithful to the Ettin's Monster Manual identity.
Whether you're dropping this into a mountain pass ambush, stationing it as a dungeon warden for a more powerful villain, or simply adding a genuinely characterful brute to your display shelf, this is a miniature that commands the table. Equally well-suited to gaming and display collecting.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a two-headed giant-kin encounter in a wilderness or mountain setting
- Want a mid-tier boss monster with real table presence
- Are building out a giant-kin warband or chaotic monster faction
- Love characterful, lore-faithful sculpts that paint up brilliantly
- Collect creature minis from the Monster Manual 2025
Encounter Hook:
The mountain trail goes quiet — then the party hears two gruff voices arguing about which direction to go, getting closer. By the time they realise both voices belong to the same enormous silhouette stepping out of the tree line, it's already rolling Initiative.
Supplied as a single piece attached to an integral base, scaled to 32mm. Printed at high resolution and fully cured, with supports removed. Minor surface marks are possible as part of the process and can be tidied with fine sandpaper before priming.
