Description

When the treeline shakes and two sets of eyes blink open in the dark, you know the party has wandered into ettin territory — and this one didn't come empty-handed.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Ettins are among the most brutish of the giant-kin — two heads arguing over tactics while the body just gets on with smashing. This sculpt captures that chaos beautifully. The creature is depicted at a Large scale, hunched forward in a threatening stance, both heads locked in that familiar snarl of hunger and low cunning. A single enormous double-headed battle axe is gripped in one fist, its heft suggesting something that could cleave through a stone wall without much effort.

The detail on this sculpt rewards a close look. Thick hide is studded with bony protrusions and spines across the shoulders and scalp, giving the ettin a feral, almost prehistoric quality. Scraps of piecemeal armour — gauntlets, leg wraps, banded straps — suggest this creature has been fighting for a long time and collecting trophies from whoever lost. The rocky integral base plants it firmly on broken terrain, ideal for mountain passes or wilderness encounters.

The render includes a scale reference figure, showing just how imposing this mini is on the table — it towers over a standard 32mm human-sized piece, making it immediately readable as a Large creature even at a glance.

Particularly well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a Large-scale creature to anchor a wilderness or mountain encounter
  • Want a boss-tier giant-kin with genuine table presence
  • Are running a giant-themed campaign or regional threat arc
  • Enjoy painting armoured creatures with layered texture and rugged detail
  • Want a display piece that reads as dangerous from across the room

Encounter Hook: The mountain pass was supposed to be clear — the scouts said so three days ago. Now the scouts aren't answering, the path is blocked by something enormous sitting on what used to be a merchant's wagon, and both of its heads are already looking at the party. The ettin hasn't stood up yet. It's deciding which head gets to eat first.

Details

This is a Large-scale miniature — noticeably bigger than standard 32mm humanoids, sized to represent a Large creature on the tabletop grid. The sculpt features an integral rocky base. Supplied unpainted and unassembled if applicable, ready for your preferred primer and paint scheme.
