Description

In the tangled dark between the trees, something has been watching — and the silk-wrapped shapes hanging from the branches used to be travellers.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Ettercap is one of D&D's most unsettling forest predators: a hunched, spider-faced aberration that blends cunning with feral savagery. This sculpt captures it in a low, predatory crouch — weight forward, clawed hands splayed wide, the segmented carapace of its insectoid face turned toward its prey. The armoured limbs, taloned feet, and hunched silhouette read immediately as something built to close distance fast and drag its quarry into the webbing. It's a creature that belongs in cursed woodland, Underdark passages, or anywhere your players think they're safe.

Whether you're placing this at the heart of a spider cult's lair or dropping it as a wandering ambush predator on the road, this mini brings exactly the right tension to the table. It works equally well as a painted display piece for collectors who appreciate the stranger corners of the monster manual.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run woodland, swamp, or Underdark encounters where ambush predators lurk
  • Want a centrepiece monster for a spider-themed lair or cult storyline
  • Enjoy painting detailed creature minis with strong surface texture and dynamic pose
  • Collect D&D monsters for display as well as gameplay

Encounter Hook:
The ranger finds a boot — still laced, still upright — in the middle of the forest path. Twenty feet above, the rest of the merchant is cocooned in silk. Something clicks in the canopy. Initiative.
