Eryth Veilhorn is a character who occupies that unsettling middle ground between mortal and something altogether worse. Her silhouette is immediately commanding — a great swept and spiked headdress that might be crown, helmet, or living horn dominates the upper form, framed by long trailing hair. One hand is raised, fingers splayed as though weaving a hex or beckoning a soul closer; the other grips a bone-handled dagger with practised ease. A ragged skirt of layered cloth and feathers hangs from a rope belt adorned with small skulls, and the whole ensemble speaks of someone who has made deliberate choices about the kind of power they pursue.
The sculpt rewards careful painters. The feather-and-cloth layering on the skirt and shoulder wraps offers excellent surface variation for wet-blending or layering techniques. The horned headdress — its dripping, melting silhouette suggesting something both arcane and organic — is a centrepiece detail that will stand out on any gaming table or display shelf. Whether you read her as a warlock of unspeakable patronage, a fiendish emissary, or a mortal who has simply gone very far down a very dark road, Eryth Veilhorn brings presence to every encounter she appears in.
This is the 35mm variant of the sculpt, offering sharp detail at a scale that sits comfortably alongside standard D&D miniatures.
Suits adventurers who enjoy:
- Running fiend-touched NPCs or antagonists with genuine visual menace
- Painting layered cloth, feathers, and organic horn textures
- Adding a charismatic, threatening presence to Abyssal or Shadowfell encounters
- Display painting — the headdress and skulls make her a strong showcase piece
- Warlock or sorcerer player characters with a dark or fiendish theme
Encounter Hook
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen relic from a cult operating beneath the city's oldest quarter. They descend through torchlit crypts and emerge into a vaulted ritual chamber to find Eryth Veilhorn standing at the altar — not performing the ritual, but watching the cultists with cold amusement. She turns at their arrival and raises one hand, dagger glinting at her hip: "You're late. I was beginning to think I'd have to do this myself."
