The Entrance to the Abyss is a centrepiece terrain piece that demands attention the moment it hits the table. A vast archway of cracked and ancient stone rises from a rubble-strewn base, flanked by enormous bat-like wings spread wide in silent threat. At the apex, a horned demonic face peers from carved relief — beneath it, the gate's face is dominated by a deep spiral motif, suggesting a portal mid-turn, caught between worlds. Jagged spurs of bone or thorn erupt from the edges, and every surface is alive with texture: fracture lines, carved columns, and the unmistakable geometry of something built not by mortal hands.
Whether you're marking the entrance to an Abyssal realm, the threshold of a lich's sanctum, or the focal point of a climactic boss encounter, this piece carries the weight of genuine menace. This is a display-scale terrain piece — the base measures approximately 80mm across, sized by the artist to serve as a boss-encounter centrepiece rather than standard scatter terrain. The base is supplied detached and can be fixed with hobby glue. The piece arrives ready for priming and painting, though it carries presence even straight from the box.
