This is pose 01 of our Enchanted Elf Soldier range by Witchsong Miniatures — and it sets the tone for the whole line. Clad in layered leather armour with jagged decorative edging and wearing a tall, rune-etched pointed hat, this compact warrior is mid-swing with an enormous double-headed war hammer, body braced low with one foot forward on a craggy rock base. There's nothing graceful or courtly about this elf — this is a front-line brawler, fierce and deliberate, every inch of the sculpt communicating momentum and barely-contained aggression.
Whether you're running him as a battle-hardened enchanted soldier, a gnome-elf hybrid fighter from a fey warband, or a deceptively dangerous NPC who lets adventurers underestimate him until it's too late — this sculpt does the storytelling for you. The hat, the armour detailing, and that magnificently oversized hammer make him memorable on the tabletop and equally compelling on a display shelf.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a distinctive, small-stature warrior for an encounter or boss moment
- Are building out a fey or enchanted elf warband for a campaign arc
- Play a Fighter, Barbarian, or Paladin and want a characterful stand-in with real presence
- Collect Witchsong sculpts and want every pose in the Enchanted Elf Soldier range
- Love dynamic, mid-action poses that look striking both painted and unpainted
Encounter Hook:
The Feywild border post was supposed to be unmanned — abandoned after the last incursion. But as the party pushes through the treeline, a single figure steps out from behind a standing stone: a compact elf in battered armour, war hammer resting on one shoulder, expression utterly calm. He tells them, very politely, that no one passes this crossing without the Lady's permission. The hammer comes up before anyone has finished exchanging glances.
Details
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale with a detailed scenic rock base, which is supplied detached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. The scale may vary slightly from standard 28mm depending on artist intent — if you'd like a specific rescale, drop us a message and we'll do our best to help. The sculpt comes unpainted and ready for priming, with supports removed; minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up easily with a fine file or hobby knife.
