Emgus the Holy (Dwarf Cleric) Bust by The Witchguild
Description
They say Emgus the Holy has never once asked Moradin for mercy on his enemies' behalf — only the strength to finish the job himself.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This large-format display bust captures a Dwarf Cleric of striking character: a veteran warrior-priest whose braided beard flows like a river of iron, framed by a ceremonially engraved helmet etched with knotwork and rune motifs. Over his right shoulder rises the broad head of a runic war axe — not the weapon of a healer, but of a cleric who has long since settled the debate between faith and force. His expression is weathered and contemplative, the look of a dwarf who has stood at the gates of Moradin's forge and been turned back with more work to do.
The sculpt rewards painters with an extraordinary range of surface textures: layered flowing beard strands, deeply carved knotwork across the helmet and shield-like axe head, and a plinth base bordered with a continuous runic frieze. Whether painted in rich bronze and stone tones or treated as a high-contrast showcase piece, Emgus will anchor any display shelf with quiet authority. He serves equally well as inspiration for a campaign's dwarven patron, a storied cleric PC, or simply a centrepiece that earns the admiration of every adventurer who walks into the room.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Enjoy display busts as a more ambitious and expressive painting project
- Are building a dwarven or clerical character for a D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Want a shelf piece that carries genuine narrative presence
- Are looking for a gift for a DM who loves dwarves, clerics, or deeply detailed sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party has arrived in the mountain hold of Karak Dunhal seeking an ancient relic — only to find the temple sealed and its high priest, Emgus the Holy, sitting outside the door with his axe across his knees. He has been there for three days. He says the gods are arguing. He says he is waiting for the result. He has not eaten. He does not look concerned.

What's included:
This is a large-format display bust, not a standard 32mm tabletop miniature — it is scaled for painting and collection display. The piece includes the bust of Emgus and the runic knotwork plinth base as seen in the images. Printed to a high level of detail, supports are removed before dispatch. Minor imperfections are occasionally present in the printing process — we quality-check every piece carefully, and any residual marks are straightforward to address with standard modelling tools.
