Description
He has sat upon this throne of carved bone and emerald crystal for longer than any living scholar can reckon — and whatever secret he is turning over in his clawed hands, he has not yet decided whether to share it or weaponise it.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Emerald Wizard is a figure of brooding, barely-contained power. Seated on a grotesque throne wreathed in skeletal reliefs and surrounded by jutting crystal formations, he hunches forward with one leg raised, clawed hands clasped together as if in deliberation. His horned crown and bestial features mark him as something older and stranger than a mere court mage — this is an arcane sovereign, a creature who has moved beyond the petty titles of wizard or warlock and claimed something altogether more unsettling. The pose says everything: this is not a figure who reacts. This is a figure who decides.
For Dungeon Masters, he works beautifully as a BBEG whose intelligence and patience have made him far more dangerous than any brute. For collectors, the sculpt is a showcase piece — the throne's bone-carved detail, the crystal base, and the careful weight of that hunched, contemplative pose give this miniature genuine character whether painted or left in natural resin grey. Equally at home in a Feywild court, an Underdark sanctum, or the sealed tower of a forgotten archmage.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Need a BBEG with presence and intellectual menace — not just raw power
- Want a memorable named NPC: an ancient fey lord, a fallen archmage, or a patron gone wrong
- Are building a display piece that commands attention on any shelf or gaming table
- Run campaigns where the villain is already three moves ahead of the party
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the vanishing villages to a tower that doesn't appear on any map. Inside, seated exactly as if he expected them, is the Emerald Wizard — hands clasped, expression unreadable, one clawed finger slowly turning a small glowing stone. He speaks first: "You took longer than I thought you would. Sit down. We have a great deal to discuss before the others arrive."
