At the edge of the treeline, the great stag raises its head — antlers like a crown of bone, mane bristling, one hoof lifted as though deciding whether to charge or simply stare you down until you retreat.

This is pose 2 of our Elk / Stag range by The Toadstool Weaver, and it cuts a genuinely striking figure on the tabletop. The sculpt captures a mature bull elk mid-step, head held high with a sweeping rack of antlers branching wide above it. A thick, layered mane — almost leonine in its density — covers the chest and shoulders, lending this creature a sense of primal authority that makes it equally at home as a wild beast encounter, a druidic guardian, or even a fey-touched woodland spirit. The surface detail across the body is rich, with individual fur strands and muscle definition that reward careful painting.
In D&D 5e terms, the elk is a CR 1/4 beast — but on the table this sculpt punches well above that stat block. Whether you're running it as a mundane animal, a ranger's companion, or something far stranger lurking in an enchanted forest, this miniature earns its place in any wilderness encounter.

Encounter Hook:
The village elder warned the party not to enter the Ashwood at dusk — but no one mentioned the elk. It stands motionless in the centre of the path, antlers wreathed in pale foxfire, and every animal in the forest has gone utterly silent. Roll initiative, or attempt Insight. Either way, this is not an ordinary stag.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, primed-ready, and ripe for your brushwork. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be secured with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-printed pieces, minor surface variations may occasionally occur; any residual marks are easily tidied up before painting.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
