Description

She pauses at the treeline, ears pricked and nostrils wide — a creature of quiet wildness that tells the party everything they need to know about what else might be watching from the shadows.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Not every creature that crosses the party's path needs teeth and claws. The elk cow is that rarer thing in tabletop gaming — a piece of living world-building. She grounds a scene, tells the Dungeon Master's story without saying a word, and transforms an empty forest clearing into somewhere that feels genuinely inhabited.

MZ4250's sculpt captures the elk cow with close attention to natural detail: the long neck held in a watchful, alert posture, the textured fur coat rendered across her flanks and shoulders, and the slender legs grounded solidly on a simple base. She reads clearly at tabletop distance but rewards close inspection on the painting desk.

Whether she's a druid's companion, a creature the ranger has tracked, or simply a sign that the forest is alive and breathing around the party, this miniature earns its place in any wilderness scene. She also paints up handsomely as a display piece for a nature-themed diorama.

This miniature is well suited to adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness campaigns and want populated, breathing environments
  • Play rangers or druids and want a fitting animal companion on the table
  • Collect natural creatures to complement their monster and NPC collections
  • Paint realistic animals and want a sculpt with genuine textural detail
  • Build forest dioramas or themed display scenes

Encounter Hook: The party is tracking a wounded owlbear through an ancient forest when they come across a small herd of elk — all of them perfectly still, all staring in the same direction. Something has spooked them, and it hasn't left.
