This Elf Rogue sculpt from Epic Miniatures captures a nimble assassin frozen at the apex of a spinning strike — one leg raised in a high kick, twin short swords fanning out in opposing arcs. The whole body is wrapped in tight linen bands, suggesting a desert-trained operative, a cursed wanderer bound in ancient cloth, or a rogue who has reinvented herself entirely beneath her wrappings. A deep hood shadows her face, leaving only narrow eyes visible, and the flowing tails of her sash trail behind her in mid-motion.

The detail in this sculpt rewards careful painting. Each strip of linen has its own raised edge and texture, and the intricate wrappings spiral down her forearms and shins in a way that will take washes and dry-brushing beautifully. The dynamic pose — balanced on one foot at the point of a dual strike — gives this mini enormous energy on the tabletop and real presence on the display shelf.

She works equally well as a player character or as a deadly NPC assassin dropped into any campaign that needs a blade in the shadows. The wrapped aesthetic makes her a natural fit for desert regions, ancient tombs, or any setting where knowledge of forbidden techniques is wrapped as tightly as the wielder herself.

Particularly well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Play elven rogues, monks, or rangers with a stealth-focused build
  • Run desert, Egyptian-themed, or ancient-civilisation campaigns
  • Want a dual-wielder with genuine dynamism rather than a static stance
  • Need an assassin NPC with an air of mystery and a very distinctive silhouette
  • Are building out urban underworld factions or secretive desert guilds

Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen artefact from a merchant's vault — but when they arrive, a figure in linen wrappings is already there, twin blades drawn, standing over the unconscious guards. She gives them exactly three seconds to explain themselves before her swords begin to move.
