Elf Paladin of the Beacon (Relethyr Valin) by DM Stash
Description
Once a devoted servant of the Beacon's light, Relethyr Valin has walked the edge between sacred duty and something far darker — and the crescent blade at his side suggests he has not always chosen wisely.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This sculpt from DM Stash's Rise of the Dragon series captures Relethyr mid-motion, one arm raised with a sword hilt at his shoulder, the other hand lowered toward the sweeping arc of a wicked crescent blade. He wears intricately detailed plate armour engraved with flowing organic motifs — the kind that speaks of elven craftsmanship rather than a human forge — layered over chainmail and a tattered, heavy skirt that whips dramatically behind him. Long hair falls loose across his shoulders, and his expression carries a quiet, coiled intensity. He stands on a craggy rocky base that adds real narrative weight to the composition, suggesting a battlefield or a high mountain pass mid-confrontation.
He reads equally well as a fallen or conflicted paladin, a divine champion operating beyond the bounds of his order, or a seasoned warrior NPC with secrets worth uncovering. The sculpt rewards careful painting — the armour engravings, the fabric texture of the skirt, and the crescent blade's curved edge each offer distinct opportunities for a skilled brush.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Are playing a paladin or oath-bound warrior with a morally complex backstory
- Need a named NPC — a rival champion, a fallen defender, or a reluctant ally
- Want a display piece that holds its own on a shelf as confidently as it does on a gaming table
- Are running a campaign involving divine orders, dragon cults, or political intrigue among knightly factions
Encounter Hook:
The party is tasked with recovering a sacred relic from the ruins of a Beacon temple — but when they arrive, Relethyr Valin is already there, crescent blade drawn and armour scarred from a recent fight. He won't explain what he's taken from the altar, and his answers to the party's questions are precise, measured, and deeply unsatisfying. Whether he is protecting the relic or fleeing with it is entirely up to your campaign.
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and scenic rocky base are separate pieces, attached with superglue — the base is designed to complement the pose, so we recommend using it as intended. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Minor imperfections from the print process may occasionally be present; these are easily addressed before painting.
