Misti Cloudburst is no wandering woodland druid. She is a Caller of Storms — a figure of immense elemental authority who has long since moved beyond the petty concerns of the mortal world. This sculpt captures her in deep meditation: seated cross-legged, hands resting on her knees with small orbs of crackling energy forming in each palm, her expression serene and entirely unconcerned with whatever your party is about to attempt. Her scale-textured armour and deeply engraved rune-work speak to centuries of practice, whilst her extraordinary flowing hair cascades down behind her like living weather, streaked and swirling as though caught in a perpetual gale. She floats above a dramatic rocky crystal formation — jagged storm-crystals erupting from scattered stones — that lifts her physically above the earth, emphasising the divide between this ancient elf and the world below.
The level of sculpted detail here is genuinely remarkable. The back view reveals a cascade of individually rendered hair strands that spill down to the base, each strand distinct. The decorative bracers, the runic chest piece, the scale-work capelet — every surface rewards a close look and a fine brush. Whether you're fielding her as a powerful NPC, a Circle of Spores or Circle of Stars druid, or a recurring patron figure whose motives remain inscrutable, Misti commands the table the moment she's placed on it. Equally at home on a display shelf, her crystal base transforms the whole piece into something closer to a diorama than a standard miniature.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Play or DM with high-level druid characters seeking a distinctive sculpt
- Need a memorable named NPC — a reclusive storm oracle, a planar intermediary, or an ancient elf with her own agenda
- Want a display-worthy piece that doubles as a centrepiece for their collection
- Appreciate heavily detailed character sculpts with dramatic integrated bases
Encounter Hook:
The party has been directed to the Storm Eyrie — a remote mountain plateau where Misti Cloudburst has sat in unbroken meditation for eleven years. She opens one eye as they approach. The crystals at her feet begin to hum. She already knows why they've come — and she's decided they'll have to earn the answer.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic crystal base are separate pieces and attach cleanly with a small amount of superglue — the two pieces are designed to interact, and the base is very much part of the sculpt's visual impact. As with any high-detail character miniature, minor surface marks from the print process can occur; these are easily addressed before priming. Arrives fully cured and support-free.
