Kitarlia the Ascended Incarnate is a breathtaking centrepiece sculpt from DM Stash's War of the Elements collection. She stands wide-legged in a low combat stance, arms outstretched and each hand gripping a rune-etched staff, her long hair streaming as though caught in her own elemental wake. Around her, a churning vortex of shattered ice and torrential water erupts from the base and curls dramatically behind her — a visual declaration of elemental power fully merged with mortal form. Her clothing bears intricate carved detailing throughout: layered robes, wrapped bracers, and scrollwork along her bracers and apron all speak to a warrior-scholar who has transcended the boundary between discipline and divinity.
On the tabletop, Kitarlia works beautifully as an Ascended Monk BBEG, a Water Elemental champion, or a powerful patron-touched player character for campaigns touching on planar conflict, elemental temples, or the chaos of an elemental war. On a display shelf, the ice-and-water base effect makes her one of the most visually arresting sculpts in the range — a miniature that earns its own dedicated plinth.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Need a formidable Monk or elemental warrior for D&D 5e combat encounters
- Are running campaigns with elemental themes — water temples, planar rifts, or elemental cults
- Want a display piece with dramatic integrated base effects
- Paint for competition or enjoy complex, textured sculpts with rich surface detail
Encounter Hook:
The party follows a trail of frozen footprints into the heart of the Tidecaller Monastery — only to find every monk within encased in ice. At the altar, Kitarlia stands perfectly still, eyes closed, two rune-staves levelled outward. She does not open her eyes when she speaks: "You came too late to stop the Ascension. Now you will witness it."
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied as model and decorative base as separate pieces — a small amount of super glue is all that's needed to attach them. The base is a key part of the sculpt and the two pieces interact closely, so we recommend displaying her with it. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the box as a grey resin display piece.
