Broad-shouldered and barrel-chested beneath voluminous layered robes, this dwarven fire mage radiates the quiet authority of a scholar who has long since moved past theory and into raw elemental mastery. In one hand he grips a gnarled staff crowned with a serpentine dragon head, its wings half-spread as though caught mid-shriek. His other hand is raised and open, conjuring streamers of elemental fire that curl and twist from his fingertips like living things. The detail on his flowing robes — each fold and sash rendered with careful depth — gives painters a wealth of surface to work with, while his magnificent beard and spectacled face give him unmistakable character.
