This is the Electric Frankenstein in full attack pose — a hulking, muscle-bound monstrosity caught mid-lunge, arms outstretched and crackling with jagged arcs of electricity. The sculpt captures a creature that is equal parts tragic horror and elemental menace: a lion-maned, snarling face twisted in savage concentration, a corkscrewed metallic bolt jutting from the spine, and thick, stitched limbs wrapped in fraying cloth wrappings that speak to something pieced together — then charged beyond all reason.
The lightning effects are sculpted directly into the model, erupting from each forearm and fingertip in wild, branching tendrils that make the mini feel genuinely alive with kinetic energy. The low, crouching stance with one grasping hand reaching toward the ground gives the impression of a creature about to launch itself across the table — which, for your players, is exactly the impression you want. Mounted on a large 51mm oval base, this is a presence on the board that demands attention.
The reverse shows off the extraordinary back detail — layers of stitched muscle, the mechanical bolt protrusion, and more lightning tendrils twisting outward — making this a rewarding painting project from every angle. Whether you treat it as a unique BBEG construct, a Ravenloft horror experiment, or a rampaging fiendish brute, the sculpt carries real narrative weight.
This miniature suits adventurers who:
- Run Gothic horror or Ravenloft campaigns with mad-science flavour
- Need a large-base boss creature or encounter centrepiece
- Want a distinctive monster that doubles as a display piece
- Are building encounters around constructs, fiends, or elemental horrors
- Love a sculpt with dramatic, motion-filled energy baked into the pose
Encounter Hook: The party was hired to retrieve a stolen arcane core from the ruins of an abandoned laboratory. They find the core — still humming — embedded in the chest of a creature that should not exist. When the wizard reaches for it, the Electric Frankenstein's eyes open. Initiative order, please.
