Spriggans dwell at the oldest edges of the Feywild, where the trees have grown twisted and the boundary between fey magic and something far older has worn thin. This elder variant carries that ancient weight in every gnarled limb — bark-plated skin cracked like centuries-old heartwood, a crown of bare branches reaching upward with a few stubborn leaves still clinging on, and a posture that suggests patience measured not in years but in forest ages. Where younger fey are mischief and motion, this one is stillness and memory.
The sculpt captures a casual, observational pose — arms loosely folded, weight settled, head slightly bowed as if in quiet contemplation or the slow appraisal of something it has watched for a very long time. The detailed base features clusters of crystalline grass spurs erupting from rocky ground, grounding the piece in a blighted or fey-touched wilderness. Whether you use it as a guardian of a corrupted woodland, a Feywild elder with cryptic knowledge, or simply as a centrepiece for a nature-themed display shelf, this is a miniature that rewards a second look.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Run Feywild campaigns and want layered, atmospheric NPCs
- Need a distinctive druid-adjacent creature or ancient forest guardian
- Are building an enchanted forest encounter with fey and plant-type monsters
- Collect nature-themed miniatures for display alongside painted terrain
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the source of a blight spreading through the Whisperwood for three sessions — and finally, at the heart of the dead grove, they find it: not a corruption, not a demon, but an Elderly Tree Spriggan that has been quietly absorbing the forest's grief for centuries, and is no longer willing to do so alone.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature comes attached to a sculpted base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting or use straight from the box. Miniatures are printed at high resolution and supports are removed before dispatch; minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and easily tidied up before painting.
