The Einherjar are the chosen dead of Norse myth, warriors slain in glorious battle and called to train in Valhalla until the end of days. In D&D 5e lore, they make formidable opponents — disciplined fighters who have faced death and hold no fear of it. This second pose in the Einherjar Melee range captures one mid-stance: weight shifted forward, round shield braced against incoming blows, and a heavy axe cocked back and ready to swing. The sculpt wears layered mail, a nose-guard helm, greaves, and a belted surcoat — the workaday armour of a veteran who's fought too many battles to dress for show.
Whether you're running a Norse-mythology-inspired campaign, a celestial battlefield encounter, or need a hardened warrior NPC to guard a divine hall, this mini brings real visual presence to the tabletop. Equally at home on a display shelf, where the detail in the chainmail and helm reward a careful paint job.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a Norse-inspired warrior, soldier, or undead champion for their campaign
- Are running encounters in divine realms, celestial halls, or planes of battle
- Want a characterful melee fighter mini that doubles as a display piece
- Are collecting the full Einherjar Melee range — this is pose 2
Encounter Hook:
The party has broken into the Hall of the Slain seeking a fallen hero's soul — but the Einherjar who guards the antechamber squares his shield and raises his axe without a word. He has been instructed not to let anyone pass. He died following orders once before, and it didn't stop him then.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as a single piece attached to its base, ready for priming and painting or straight to the table unpainted. As with all hand-checked resin prints, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present — these are easily cleaned up and in no way affect the finished look once primed.
