Description

She emerged from the cursed grove at midnight — horns crowned with twisted antlers, one hand raised to channel wild magic, the other dragging a skull-tipped scythe through the undergrowth — and the forest itself seemed to lean in to listen.

Eilin Valewood is a fey sorceress sculpted at the intersection of wild beauty and creeping corruption. Her slender form rises from a base of coiling thorned vines, budding seed-pods, and grasping root tendrils — the forest made flesh. A gown of living bark and interwoven branches flows around her lower half, while her upper body is etched with spiralling organic markings that suggest something older and stranger than any druid's pact.

Curving horns sweep upward from her brow, and long hair cascades behind her in a flowing mass. In her right hand she channels magic through what appears to be a shard of dark crystal or bone, while her left arm — encased in angular natural armour — trails a wicked scythe tipped with a small skull. The expression is composed, unreadable: the calm of someone who has already decided how this encounter ends.

The sculpt is rich in detail from every angle — the rear view reveals the full sweep of the vine-draped skirt and the elegant lines of the scythe shaft, while the side profile shows the reach of her spell-casting hand and the delicate layering of root and branch that makes up her silhouette. She is as rewarding to paint as she is to place on the table.

A great fit for adventurers who:

  • Need a compelling BBEG or powerful NPC for a dark Feywild or corrupted forest arc
  • Play a Druid, Sorceress, or Warlock and want a miniature that captures a nature-touched spellcaster
  • Are running a campaign where the boundary between the mortal world and the fey is fraying dangerously
  • Want a display piece that rewards detailed painting — the vines, horns, and flowing hair all take washes and highlighting beautifully
  • Collect characterful villain or anti-hero miniatures from independent sculptors

Encounter Hook

The party has been tracking a series of disappearances along the old woodland road. At the heart of a clearing where the trees have grown inward to form a cage of living wood, they find Eilin Valewood standing over a ritual circle of woven roots and scattered bones. She does not acknowledge them at first — she is mid-incantation, her crystal shard blazing with cold light, her scythe planted in the earth. When she finally turns, she smiles. "You took longer than I expected," she says. "The bargain is already made. The question is what you're prepared to offer to unmake it."

Details

Eilin Valewood is printed at 35mm scale (as noted in the original sculpt title), making her slightly taller and more imposing than a standard 32mm figure — well suited to representing a powerful magical presence on the table. She is supplied unpainted and unassembled if applicable, ready for priming and painting.
