Edward "Ironhook" Drake is no ordinary sea dog. This notorious pirate captain cuts a commanding silhouette: long weathered coat billowing behind him, a notched cutlass levelled in one hand and his infamous serrated iron hook raised high in the other. He stands boot-first atop a snarling shark, a Jolly Roger emblem etched into his coat-tails — a man who doesn't merely sail the ocean, he conquers it. The sculpt captures every detail of a life lived at sea and by the blade: braided beard adorned with trinkets, a knotted bandana, layered rope-and-buckle rigging across his chest, and coin tokens swinging at his hip. The shark base adds genuine drama, jaws wide open beneath his boot heel, making this a centrepiece-worthy piece for both gaming and display.

Whether you need a fearsome pirate lord to anchor your coastal campaign, a rival sea captain with a grudge against the party's ship, or a memorable boss encounter in an aquatic dungeon crawl, Ironhook Drake brings instant authority to the table. He's equally at home as a villain with a code of honour, an unlikely ally, or the face of a feared privateering fleet. For collectors, the theatrical composition — that shark base, those billowing coat-tails — makes this a standout shelf piece in any pirate or nautical display.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a named pirate captain NPC or campaign villain with genuine presence
  • Are running seafaring, coastal, or aquatic campaign arcs
  • Want a boss-tier encounter miniature for naval or harbour encounters
  • Collect pirate and maritime themed fantasy miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The party's ship has been boarded. As the smoke clears, a figure steps onto the rail — one boot planted on a writhing shark dragged up from the deep, cutlass drawn, iron hook glinting. Edward Ironhook Drake doesn't negotiate. He offers one chance to hand over the cargo and walk away. Whether the players take it is entirely up to them.
