This Earth Golem is a monument to elemental fury given terrible locomotion. Faceted stone plates interlock across its hunched, lumbering frame, interspersed with clusters of barnacle-like mineral growths and thick knotted vines that suggest something older than civilisation has been sleeping inside this rock for a very long time. Jagged crystal spires erupt from its shoulders and flanks, and the sculpt captures that unsettling quality of a creature that does not move quickly — but does not need to. The integrated base is alive with cracked stone, scattered gravel, and more of those creeping mineralised tendrils, making the whole piece feel like a fragment of the earth itself has torn free and taken offence.
The sculpt reads brilliantly from every angle — the rear view reveals the full bulk of the creature's crystal-studded back and the sheer scale of its hunched silhouette, while the front-on view shows those great slab-fingered hands braced wide, as though the golem is mid-lurch through a cavern wall. Whether you paint it in deep granite greys with glowing crystal veins, or go full mossy ancient-ruin green, this is a piece that rewards time at the painting table as much as it earns its place on the gaming table.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a large-scale elemental threat for underground or mountain encounters
- Are running campaigns involving earth elementals, stone giants, or ancient guardians
- Want a display piece that holds its own on a shelf alongside any fantasy collection
- Enjoy detailed painting projects with rich texture variety — stone, crystal, and organic growth all in one sculpt
Encounter Hook:
The party has crept into the heart of the Stonewarden Vault, convinced the old construct legends are exaggerated — until the floor shifts, crystal shards spray from the wall ahead, and a shape older than the dungeon itself unfolds from the rock face, blocking the only way forward. It does not speak. It does not need to.
Scaled to 32mm. The model and integrated scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of superglue — and the base is very much worth including, as the golem's pose is sculpted to interact with it directly. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Minor surface marks from the printing process may occasionally occur; these are easily addressed before painting.
