Eaglefolk Monk by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
High above the mountain passes, where the thermals carry only those with wings and purpose, the eagle-folk guardians watch — and sometimes descend to walk among the groundbound.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This eaglefolk monk cuts a commanding silhouette: broad feathered wings spread wide behind a lean, armoured frame, raptor's head held proud, and a long staff gripped with the quiet confidence of someone who has trained since the nest. The sculpt captures that distinctive tension between stillness and explosive movement that defines the monk archetype — this figure is at rest in the way a falcon is at rest, a breath before the dive.
Birdfolk characters bring something genuinely different to the table: aerial mobility, sharp senses, and a visual presence that makes them memorable whether they're your party's Monk, a Sky Sentinel NPC, or an envoy from a mountain-top aerie civilisation. This sculpt by Mia Kay has the kind of feather-by-feather detail that rewards careful painting — the layered primaries on the wings, the braided cord at the waist, and the scaled feet gripping a rocky base all carry real sculptural character.
Suits adventurers who:
- Are playing or DMing a birdfolk or aarakocra Monk character
- Want a visually striking NPC — sky warden, order guardian, or winged rival
- Enjoy painting feathered textures and avian anatomy
- Collect fantasy humanoid minis with strong individual identities
- Need a display piece that holds its own on a shelf as much as a battlemat
Encounter Hook:
The party's map leads them to a mountain monastery carved into the cliff face — but the bridge is blocked by a lone eagle-folk sentinel who hasn't moved in three days. He isn't guarding the entrance. He's guarding everyone inside from something that already got out.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model arrives with its scenic rocky base — base is detached for easy attachment with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up easily. This miniature is suitable for both gaming use and display collecting, and arrives ready for priming and painting — or use straight from the box if you prefer the raw resin look.
