The Dybbuk is one of the more unsettling fiends in the D&D bestiary — not a brute, not a tyrant, but a corrupted spirit that puppets the dead and spreads misery through possession and psychological horror. The Toadstool Weaver's sculpt captures that wrongness with characteristic flair: a bloated, brain-like head wearing a permanent grimace sits atop a mass of thick, coiling purple tentacles, ringed at the base with a wreath of organic nodules that look somewhere between fungal growths and rotten pearls. There is nothing dignified about it. That is entirely the point.

The sculpt leans into the creature's alien quality — no limbs in any conventional sense, just tentacles winding and coiling beneath a face that seems vaguely aware of you and entirely unbothered by that fact. The surface detail across the cranial dome and the texture of the tentacles give painters a rich set of surfaces to work with: smooth, fleshy gradients on the head, organic ridges along each tentacle, and those golden-amber nodules calling out for a contrasting spot colour. This is a rewarding piece for anyone who enjoys non-humanoid creature painting.
