Description

He came down from the mountain with nothing but a rune-carved axe and a grudge older than the dragon's hoard — and only one of them came back.

  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

This Dwarven Dragon Hunter is a miniature that tells a story before a single die is rolled. Broad-shouldered and battle-worn, he stands planted over the fallen head of a scaled beast, rune-carved axe raised and dripping, expression set in the grim calm of a warrior who has done this before. His long braided beard is bound with tassels, his heavy pauldrons etched with dwarven knotwork, and a laden traveller's pack — bedroll, pouches, stacked scrolls — speaks to a lifetime of wandering in pursuit of his quarry. The dragon beneath his boot, horned and spiked with textured scales, is rendered with the same extraordinary detail, making this a genuine centrepiece sculpt.

Whether you're fielding him as a seasoned dwarf ranger who's sworn an oath to cull every dragon from the Spine of the World, a fighter built for dragon-slaying campaigns, or a legendary NPC whose reputation precedes him into every tavern, this sculpt carries real narrative weight. Equally at home on the gaming table or a display shelf, the depth of detail rewards painters and collectors alike — chainmail, leather fastenings, runic engravings, and creature texture all compete for attention.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a dwarf fighter, ranger, or barbarian player character with serious presence
  • Want a dramatic NPC or veteran monster hunter to drop into a dragon-themed campaign
  • Are painting for display and want a sculpt with layered detail across armour, fabric, fur, and scales
  • Collect fantasy miniatures and appreciate a sculpt with genuine narrative composition

Encounter Hook:
The village of Amberveil has hired a dozen sell-swords to deal with the wyvern terrorising the valley. All of them have vanished. Then, on the seventh morning, a dwarf with a blood-stained axe and a bedroll full of dragon teeth walks into the inn and orders an ale — and the party must decide whether he's the answer to their problem, or the cause of a far bigger one.
