Description
He has memorised no spell books, recited no arcane formulas — his magic comes from the mountain's bones themselves, coiling through his blood like smoke through stone.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Stocky and broad-shouldered, this dwarf sorcerer carries the raw authority of a warrior-mage who has never had to ask for silence twice. His long beard falls in thick, intricately braided plaits — the kind of detail that rewards a careful painter — while his heavy shoulders are clad in layered armour beneath a flowing coat bearing his clan's emblem. In one hand he grips an orb-topped staff wound with a braided haft; in the other, conjured flame curls between his fingers, half-controlled and entirely dangerous.
His expression is the clincher: heavy-browed, deeply unimpressed, the look of a sorcerer who has seen pretenders before and is deciding whether this one is worth the fireball. He stands with his feet planted on a rocky scatter base, rooted like the peaks his power flows from. There is nothing showy about him — every detail speaks to competence earned, not inherited.
This sculpt works equally well as a player character Sorcerer — Wild Magic, Storm, or Mountain bloodline all feel at home here — or as a formidable elder NPC: the tribe's spiritual anchor, the voice the clan chief consults before any major decision. Painted up, he would sit with equal distinction on a gaming table or a display shelf.
Adventurers who'll find a use for this sculpt:
- Players running a dwarf Sorcerer with a tribal or clan background
- Dungeon Masters needing a credible arcane elder or clan-shaman figure
- Those building out a mountain dwarf warband with magical leadership
- Painters looking for a sculpt with rich textile and braid detail to really dig into
- Collectors who appreciate characterful, no-nonsense dwarf sculpts
Encounter Hook
The party reaches the Ironpeak Hold expecting a trade negotiation — but the clan elder who greets them isn't the gruff chieftain they were briefed on. It's this man: the Stonecaller, who reads the party's intentions in the flicker of his own conjured flame before a word is spoken. He already knows about the missing caravan. He already knows who took it. What he wants to know is whether the party is worth trusting with the truth — or whether they're just going to be another problem he has to solve himself.
