This extraordinary miniature depicts Korthart, a battle-hardened dwarf warlord seated atop Shiasirix, his enormous spider companion. Korthart is bare-armed and ferocious, one hand gripping a rugged wooden railing and the other hoisting a brutal double-headed axe aloft. His long beard, thick-set frame, and the heavy chains draped across his throne-like howdah speak of a warrior who has long since left the halls of his kin behind for something older and darker. Shiasirix herself is a masterpiece of unsettling detail — multiple eyes wide open, fanged maw agape, her eight spiked legs spread across a craggy base littered with skulls and underground crystals.

The sculpt is exceptionally complex, with the howdah constructed from rough-hewn planks and wrapped in chains, the spider's abdomen finely textured with bristling hairs, and the rocky base integrating jagged crystals and the remains of previous prey. This piece commands a table the moment it arrives — equally at home as a boss monster in a deep Underdark campaign or as a centrepiece on a display shelf. Details

Supplied at 32mm scale with a detailed scenic base that integrates with the model — the spider's legs and base interact closely, so we strongly recommend displaying and using the piece with its base attached. The model and base are separate pieces for ease of painting and can be joined with superglue. Some minor imperfections inherent to the printing process are possible; any residual marks are easily tidied up before priming.
