This is the Rockseeker 01 pose from Yasashii Kyojin Studio's dwarven traveller range — a broad-shouldered dwarf rendered with real character. He stands with a long staff planted firmly at his side, dressed in a long coat layered over a feathered or fur-trimmed collar that speaks of hard northern roads and cold mountain passes. A satchel strap crosses his chest, well-worn boots are wrapped at the calf, and beneath a wide-brimmed hat, his long hair and beard frame a face that has clearly seen some things. His free hand hangs at his side, ready for trouble but not looking for it — the posture of a seasoned traveller who knows how quickly tavern conversations can go sideways.
Whether he's a grizzled quest-giver with a map and a grudge, a retired adventurer pulled back into the world, or a dwarven merchant whose guild ties run deeper than anyone suspects, the Rockseeker sculpt carries the weight of a character who already has a story. Equally at home on the gaming table or in a display collection, this is the kind of miniature that earns a name.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a dwarven NPC who reads immediately as experienced and world-weary
- Are building a dwarven merchant, guide, patron, or reluctant hero
- Want a standout sculpt for a Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue with a dwarven background
- Collect dwarven miniatures for display alongside their campaign cast
Encounter Hook:
The party spots the dwarf at a crossroads inn, nursing an ale and studying a map he keeps folding back before anyone else can see it. When they sit down, he doesn't look up — but he says, quietly, "I know who sent you, and I know what they didn't tell you. So here's what we're going to do."
