Description
He's hauled ore from tunnels that haven't seen daylight in three centuries — and the look in his eyes says he'd cheerfully do the same to anyone who crosses him.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This dwarf miner is the kind of figure that tells a story before a word is spoken. Bare-chested and barefoot, with a great bushy beard, a cloth headwrap, and a long-handled pickaxe held low and ready, he carries the weight of a hard life underground. There's no armour here — just dense muscle, a worn loincloth, and the kind of quiet menace that comes from years of back-breaking work in the dark. Whether he's a grizzled quest-giver with a grudge against the local mine baron, a wandering labourer caught between factions, or a surprisingly dangerous encounter in a collapsed tunnel, this sculpt has real presence on the table.
The pose is wide-legged and grounded, the pickaxe braced horizontally across his body — ready to swing or to block. It reads equally well as a working man at rest or a fighter coiled to strike. Painted or unpainted, he makes a compelling addition to any collection of dwarven characters.
A great pick for adventurers who:
- Need a gruff dwarven NPC for mine-based or Underdark adventures
- Want a distinctive Fighter or Barbarian player character with a working-class aesthetic
- Are building out a dwarven settlement, work gang, or guild encounter
- Collect characterful humanoid minis for display alongside painted scenery
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the flooded lower levels of the Irongate Mine, only to find a lone dwarf blocking the passage — pickaxe levelled, eyes hollow from days without sleep. He says the others didn't come back up. He says he's not letting anyone go further until they explain what took them. He doesn't look like he's bluffing.
