This is pose 8 of the MZ4250 Dwarf Male Fighter range, and it's a characterful one. Crouched into a combat-ready stance, this stout warrior raises a broad riveted round shield in one hand and hefts a heavy warhammer in the other. His segmented plate armour is detailed with belted layers and pauldrons, a full-visored helm completing the look of a fighter who's taken a few hits and plans to give plenty more. A short cloak trails behind him, giving the sculpt real weight and movement. The slightly underslung jaw — hints of a beard visible beneath the helm — adds a gruff personality that translates brilliantly both on the tabletop and on a display shelf.

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the gatehouse of Ironhold Keep to find a lone dwarf blocking the road — shield braced, hammer resting on one shoulder, visor down. He doesn't speak. Behind him, the gate is sealed. The keep has gone quiet for three days and nobody inside is answering. He's not letting anyone past until he knows why.
