Description

He has outlived three warlords, two kings, and one very ill-advised beard-shaving incident — and he is done being underestimated.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This grizzled dwarven fighter stands low and broad, radiating the kind of hard-won confidence that only comes from decades of close-quarters combat. He carries a single-headed axe in his right hand and a round bossed shield raised in his left, cloak draped back behind him — the head of a wolf draping over his shoulder like a trophy, or perhaps a warning. His face is set beneath a thick white beard and swept-back hair, expression somewhere between calm and thunderous. Layered scale-and-lamellar armour covers his torso, buckled tight over a travelling coat, greaves lashed to his boots. He's advancing — not charging, just advancing, which somehow feels worse.

This is Variant 7 of our Dwarf Male Fighter range from MZ4250, distinguished by his wolf-pelt mantle, round shield, and deliberate forward stance. If you're browsing multiple variants, this one suits the experienced veteran — a clan champion, a stubborn mercenary captain, or a PC who has rolled Strength as their primary stat and never regretted it.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Need a battle-hardened dwarf PC for a Fighter, Barbarian, or Paladin build
  • Want a named NPC — a warlord, clan elder, or reluctant quest-giver with a complicated past
  • Are building a dwarven warband or stronghold encounter for their next session
  • Collect characterful fantasy miniatures for display alongside painted pieces

Encounter Hook:
The party hears the dwarf before they see him — the rhythmic clank of layered armour as he descends into the ravine, axe already drawn, shield already raised. He stops ten feet away and says nothing. On his shoulder, the wolf's glass eyes catch the torchlight. He's clearly waiting for someone to make the first mistake.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as a single piece on an integral base. The sculpt is crisp and well-suited to priming and painting, with deep enough detail to reward both drybrushing and layered blending. Equally handsome displayed unpainted on a shelf.
