There is something gloriously stubborn about the idea of dwarf cavalry. Horses? Too tall, too nervous, too easily spooked by tunnel smoke. The mountain goat, by contrast, is sure-footed on scree, fearless on narrow ledges, and possessed of the same belligerent confidence its rider is known for. This sculpt by Epic Miniatures leans fully into that combination — a heavily armoured dwarf warrior perched atop a powerful, broad-horned goat, a long-hafted war axe raised and ready, chainmail layered beneath plate, and a deep hood shadowing a magnificently bearded face. The goat itself is no afterthought: its armoured saddle and barding are detailed with straps, buckles and layered plating, while those sweeping curved horns give the mount real presence on the tabletop.
