Thorfin is a dwarf built for the front line and nothing else. Clad in riveted, spike-studded plate over a skirt of heavy chainmail, he carries the look of a warrior who has long since stopped caring about elegance and started caring only about results. His braided beard is the lone ornament on a figure otherwise devoted entirely to war — spiked pauldrons, spiked greaves, spiked gauntlets, and a thick-hafted maul with a studded head that has clearly met more than a few skulls. A wolf-pelt hood frames a face set with hard experience and quiet menace. Crushed bones litter the rocky base beneath his boots.
Available in two distinct poses — one low and braced for impact with the maul drawn back, the other striding forward in a confident mid-march — Thorfin works equally well as a player character for a dwarf fighter, barbarian, or champion build, or as a formidable NPC warrior who's seen three kings rise and fall and outlasted them all. Both sculpts reward a careful paint job, with deep chainmail texture, layered armour plates, and a face full of hard-won character.

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a mountain hold to negotiate safe passage through the tunnels — only to find the clan's gatekeeper is Thorfin himself, a veteran warrior with a standing grudge against anyone who travels with a wizard. He's blocking the door, his maul is resting on his shoulder, and he hasn't decided yet whether to let them through or make an example of them.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are supplied as separate pieces and attach easily with a drop of superglue — note that some sculpts interact directly with their base, so the base is well worth including. Each miniature arrives support-free and ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box if you prefer unpainted minis at the table.
