Dwarf Fighter / Barbarian (Rend the Madbeard) by DM Stash

They said no dwarf could wield two warhammers at once — Rend the Madbeard took that as a personal challenge and has been proving them wrong ever since.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Rend is not a dwarf who fights with discipline or patience. He is a force of clanging chain, braided beard, and barely contained rage — the kind of warrior who ends battles before tactics have a chance to matter. This sculpt captures him mid-swing, one rune-etched warhammer raised high and a second discarded on the shattered ground at his feet, its Celtic knotwork still gleaming where it split the stone. His layered chainmail, dragon-scale pauldron, and interlocked banded armour speak to decades of hard-won campaigns, while the wild braid swept back from his face tells you he long ago stopped caring how he looks mid-combat. He just keeps swinging.
The detail on this sculpt is exceptional throughout — from the individual chain links covering his torso to the runic engravings covering both hammerheads, the tightly wound beard braids, and the rubble-strewn base that gives the whole piece a sense of tremendous kinetic impact. Whether you're fielding him as a player character dwarf barbarian, a legendary NPC champion, or a boss-tier rival for a high-level party, Rend commands the table the moment he's placed on it.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play dwarf barbarians, fighters, or berserker builds in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Need a named champion or clan warlord NPC with immediate visual presence
- Want a display-worthy collector's piece with exceptional sculptural depth
- Are running a dwarven stronghold arc and need the right face for the final encounter
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to negotiate passage through the Ironveil Deeps — but the clan's gatekeeper, Rend the Madbeard, doesn't negotiate. He challenges. The first adventurer to step forward finds a warhammer the size of a cart wheel already in motion. Initiative, please.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to assemble them. The base features a broken warhammer embedded in rubble and is designed to complement the pose, so we recommend keeping them together. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or display unpainted — the grey resin picks up detail beautifully either way.
