Dwarf Fighter (Argos Ironberg) by Primal Collectibles
Description
When the glacier cracked and the longships beached on shores no dwarf had walked in a century, it was Argos Ironberg who stepped off the prow first — warhammer resting on his shoulder, shield arm loose, eyes already reading the treeline.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

Argos Ironberg is a Norse-inspired dwarf warrior sculpted with the kind of specificity that rewards close inspection. He wears a thick quilted gambeson layered over scale armour, a full fur-collared cloak swept across broad shoulders, and a horned iron helmet that frames a magnificent braided beard. His massive rune-engraved warhammer rests casually across one shoulder — the posture of someone who has already won more fights than you've started — while a broad round shield decorated with Celtic knotwork and spiral motifs hangs on his opposite arm. The base is scattered with jagged ice crystals, placing him firmly in a frozen northern setting — a Freezing Darkness collection release by Primal Collectibles.
Whether you're building out a Viking-flavoured campaign in the frozen reaches, statting him as a grizzled dwarf barbarian or champion fighter PC, or placing him on a display shelf as a collector piece, Argos has the presence to carry the role. The sculpt holds extraordinary surface detail — every rivet, every knotwork panel, every fur fibre — that rewards careful painting at this scale.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Want a characterful dwarf PC with a distinctly Norse or northern aesthetic
- Need a seasoned NPC warrior, clan champion, or rival for their campaign
- Are running frost, tundra, or Viking-inspired settings such as Icewind Dale or homebrew northlands
- Collect display-scale fantasy miniatures and want a piece with serious painting potential
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a frost-rimed dockside to find a sole dwarf blocking the gangplank of a longship — hammer shouldered, shield raised just enough to make a point. He says his name is Ironberg, that the ship isn't going anywhere, and that whoever sent you clearly doesn't know who they're dealing with. He doesn't look like he's bluffing.

What's included:
Argos Ironberg is printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative ice-crystal base are printed as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue — the base is designed to complement the sculpt and the two are well-matched. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used unpainted straight away. We quality-check every piece before it leaves us, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily addressed.
