Pikkel Bouldershoulder carries the weight of ancient stone in every detail of his sculpt. This dwarf druid is rendered in a commanding front-facing pose, one broad hand raised and open as though calling down a conjuration, the other gripping a gnarled wooden staff crowned with curling leaves and twisting vines. He wears layered robes over a belted tunic, their surface etched with runic script and angular knotwork that speaks to decades of ritual practice. His shoulders are draped with a heavy fur-edged mantle, and his chest bears an ornate tabard panel alive with carved symbols. A thick braided beard frames a face set with authority — not aggression, but the quiet certainty of someone who has seen centuries and learned which battles matter.

Atop his head sits a spiked crown wreathed in wild, flame-like hair, giving him the look of a nature sovereign as much as a spellcaster — a druid who does not merely commune with the wild, but commands it. The sculpt captures three distinct angles across the product images, each revealing fresh detail: the sweep of his cloak from behind, the animated gesture of his conjuring hand from the side, and the full commanding presence head-on. Whether you paint him in earthy ochres and deep forest greens or lean into the regal gold of a mountain court, this miniature rewards careful brushwork at every stage.

He works equally well as a playable druid of the Circle of the Land or Stars, a revered elder NPC dispensing quests from his stone hall, or a formidable BBEG whose ties to the primal forces of the mountain make him a genuine threat. On the display shelf, the runic detail and layered robes make him a centrepiece painting project in his own right.

This miniature is well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a dwarf druid PC with gravitas and strong visual presence at the table
  • Are building a mountain kingdom or highland wilderness campaign
  • Want an elder NPC whose authority reads instantly without a word of dialogue
  • Are looking for a characterful painting project with rich surface detail
  • Run nature-themed encounters where a druid lord or circle elder holds court

Encounter Hook: The party arrives at the stone circle of Bouldershoulder Hold to seek safe passage through the Ironveil Mountains — only to find Pikkel waiting for them, staff raised and crown blazing, demanding to know why three of his sacred elk were found slain on the eastern ridge. Someone in the party's direction is responsible, and the old druid's patience for explanations is running thin.
