The Dwarf Drider is a creature that should not exist — and yet here he is, scuttling out of the shadows with that unsettling combination of dwarven stubbornness and arachnid menace. The upper body is distinctly and powerfully dwarven: a broad-shouldered figure wearing a hooded cloak and a thick braided beard, arms outstretched with commanding authority. Below the waist, however, all semblance of the forge hall ends. Eight spiked, chitinous legs carry a swollen, textured spider abdomen embossed with miniature spider motifs — a detail that rewards close inspection and careful brushwork alike.

The sculpt carries genuine character in every angle. From the front, the hooded dwarf looms with arms wide, exuding the kind of territorial confidence you'd expect from something that controls every tunnel for a mile in each direction. From behind, the abdomen becomes the centrepiece — the bumpy, organic texture of the spider body contrasting brilliantly against the woven fabric of the cloak. Painters will find rich opportunities across this miniature: warm stone-toned skin, aged leather, dark chitinous legs, and whatever markings they choose to apply to that magnificent abdomen.
