This is a cavalry miniature with real presence. The dwarf rider is clad in intricately detailed full plate, engraved with knotwork and fitted with a plumed Corinthian-style helmet. His sword is raised mid-charge, and his expression — mouth open in a battle roar — leaves no doubt about his intentions. The fur-bristled warthog beneath him is equally imposing: armoured across the snout and shoulders with fitted barding, tusks forward, four hooves driving into the ground as it surges into the charge. The sculpt captures momentum brilliantly — this is not a warrior waiting for a fight, this is one already in the thick of it.

The level of detail across both rider and mount rewards painters who enjoy working across different textures. The warthog's coarse fur contrasts beautifully with the smooth, engraved armour plates of both beast and rider.
