This stocky dwarf warrior is kitted out for the front line — chainmail hauberk layered beneath articulated plate pauldrons, a braided beard spilling down his chest, and a hooded cowl framing a broad, battle-hardened face. In his right hand he carries a long spear; on his left arm sits a round shield decorated with engraved knotwork detail. Every inch of the sculpt reads as a veteran soldier: wide-legged stance, weight evenly distributed, ready to absorb the next charge.
The detail work on this miniature rewards a careful painter. The chainmail texture covers the torso and skirt in two distinct scales, the plate armour has well-defined panel lines, and the braided beard offers a satisfying focal point for a contrast or wash.
