This dwarf soldier means business. Armed with a straight-bladed sword levelled in a fighting guard and braced behind a broad knotwork shield, he is the image of a veteran line warrior — compact, armoured from greave to gorget, and absolutely unmovable. A plumed Corinthian-style helm sits atop his head, its crest adding height and gravitas to a figure who needs neither. The long braided beard flowing down his breastplate speaks of decades in service, and the Celtic knotwork etched across his shield, pauldrons and boots tells you this soldier belongs to a clan with history, tradition, and extremely strong opinions about battle formation.
