This dwarf archer cuts a compact but formidable silhouette — a stout warrior braced in a wide stance, levelling an ornate crossbow with the casual authority of someone who has done this a hundred times before. Scale armour covers his torso, sturdy plated pauldrons protect his shoulders, and a long cape billows out behind him, caught mid-motion as though he has just wheeled to take aim. Bolts are strapped ready to his side, and his bearded face is set with weathered resolve beneath a close-fitting hood.
The crossbow itself is a sculpting highlight — elegantly crafted with curling limb tips and finely detailed string work that rewards careful drybrushing or metallic layering. Whether you paint him as a veteran of a dwarven hold's standing army, a mercenary sharpshooter, or a player character ranger, the detail density across the armour plating and equipment gives painters plenty to work with at any skill level.
