Description

When the blizzard broke over the mountain pass, it wasn't the cold that stopped the scouting party in their tracks — it was Brourum, axe in hand, shield bristling with spent arrows, grinning like he'd been waiting all week for this.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Brourum in his snow clothes — the arctic variant of the Uncharted Kingdoms barbarian, sculpted as a large-format bust from Primal Collectibles' The Shining Flow collection. He's a broad-shouldered, horn-helmed dwarf warrior caught mid-confrontation: one hand gripping a heavy double-headed axe, the other hefting a battered round shield stuck through with multiple arrows — trophies of a fight he clearly won. A voluminous woven cloak billows behind him, its texture rendered in extraordinary detail, and a thick fur mantle sits across his back. His expression is pure battle-hardened ferocity, teeth bared beneath a heavy beard, eyes alive with the kind of focus you only develop after years of surviving the kind of encounters most people don't.

As a display bust, Brourum is built for the painting table rather than the battlemat — every surface is loaded with texture and character that rewards careful brushwork. He'd equally serve as visual inspiration for a TTRPG campaign's most memorable NPC: the grizzled dwarven mercenary who knows every mountain route, or the veteran warrior-chief whose warband controls the northern passes.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Paint display busts and want a subject bursting with texture and expression
  • Are building a fantasy barbarian or dwarven warrior collection
  • Need a striking centrepiece for a shelf, cabinet, or painting competition entry
  • Want visual inspiration for a D&D Fighter, Barbarian, or Warrior NPC

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to negotiate safe passage through the Ironfang Peaks — but the gate is guarded by Brourum Stonebreak, a dwarven mercenary captain who's been holding this route for three winters and has the arrow-riddled shield to prove it. He'll grant passage, but only if the party can explain what they're worth to him. Persuasion checks start at DC 16. Picking a fight starts at a very different kind of difficulty.

Brourum is a large-format display bust, scaled and printed to showcase the sculpt's full detail. Supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable. Printed at high resolution for crisp detail throughout — from the fur mantle's individual fibres to the worn leather wrappings on his axe handle. Minor post-processing marks are possible and can be cleaned up with standard hobby tools.
