Dusty Dirk is a bandit who's survived long enough to earn a name, and the sculpt shows it. Armed with a shortsword in his off-hand and a curved falchion raised overhead in a powerful downswing, this fighter reads as experienced and dangerous — not desperate. He wears layered scale armour with ornate pauldrons and a round buckler shield, all sitting atop a heavily weathered tunic and cross-laced boots. A well-worn travel satchel and utility pouches ride his belt, suggesting someone who lives on the road and plans to keep doing so. The rocky rubble base grounds him in a gritty, outdoor encounter setting.

Whether he's a hired blade blocking a mountain pass, the enforcer of a local crime lord, or a former soldier who ran out of kings to serve, Dusty Dirk slots into campaigns as a recurring antagonist or a morally flexible ally. His dynamic dual-wielding pose makes him equally compelling on the tabletop during a fight scene or on a display shelf alongside your painted collection.

Well suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a named, memorable bandit NPC with genuine presence at the table
  • Are running road encounters, heist arcs, or mercenary faction storylines
  • Want a Fighter or Rogue player character mini with a roguish warrior aesthetic
  • Enjoy painting detailed armour, leather, and weathered kit

Encounter Hook:
The party's wagon is stopped at a narrow gorge by a lone figure leaning against a boulder — Dusty Dirk, picking at his nails with the tip of a shortsword. He tells them the toll is everything in the strongbox. What he doesn't mention is the six crossbows trained on them from the ridge above, or the fact that he's been hired by the very guild that sent the party on this errand.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative rubble base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so it looks best displayed and used with it attached. Printed at high detail settings; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occur and are easily tidied up before priming. Arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
