In the clockwork hierarchy of Mechanus, even the lowliest Duodrone carries out its directives with absolute, unblinking obedience — and a sword in each hand.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is pose 02 of our Modron Duodrone range by Novaminis. Where the first pose holds its ground, this variant is caught mid-stance — blade extended, mechanised limbs spread wide, boxy riveted head wearing an expression that somehow manages to be both blank and deeply threatening. The bolted-plate torso, spindly jointed arms, gear-clutching off-hand, and blocky squared feet give this Modron its distinctive mechanical character: not graceful, not elegant, but utterly, ruthlessly purposeful.
Duodrones rank just above Monodrones in the Modron hierarchy — capable of carrying out two tasks simultaneously and reporting to their superiors with mechanical precision. On the tabletop they work brilliantly as clockwork soldiers, constructs gone rogue, or the enforcers of some long-dead planar order that simply hasn't received the memo yet. Equally at home on a Planescape-inspired game table or a collector's display shelf, this sculpt has the kind of detailed character that rewards a close paint job — the rivets, panel lines, and gear details are all there waiting.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Run planar or Mechanus-adjacent D&D and TTRPG campaigns
- Want a construct encounter mini with genuine visual personality
- Are building a Modron encounter set across multiple poses
- Enjoy detailed painting projects with strong surface texture
- Collect display miniatures from independent fantasy sculptors
Encounter Hook:
The party discovers a sealed vault beneath the ruins of a wizard's tower. Inside, a lone Duodrone paces a tight patrol route — it has been doing so for three hundred years, carrying out the final instruction of a master who never returned. It will not stop. It will not negotiate. And it has two very large blades.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature arrives support-free and ready for priming and painting, or use as-is straight from the box. As with all hand-checked resin work, minor marks are possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.
