Description
Deep beneath the mountains, where forge-smoke and grudges never clear, a Duergar Warlord has held his throne for three centuries — and he intends to hold it for three hundred more.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures the grim authority of a Duergar at the height of his power. He wears heavy plate armour studded with spikes across both pauldrons, bearing the scars and dents of countless underground campaigns. A long braided beard — meticulously bound at the tip — hangs against his barrel chest, and a clan sigil is embossed on the crown of his helm. In both gauntleted fists he grips a massive, square-headed warhammer, its face bristling with bolts and studs. His expression is one of absolute, weathered contempt — this is not a dwarf who negotiates.
Three digital render images are included, each showing the miniature from a different angle — front-facing in a wide stance, a three-quarter view showing the hammer lowered and the grim profile, and a low-angle shot that puts the warlord's bulk and authority front and centre. All renders show the sculpt in an unpainted gold-toned finish, with crisp surface detail throughout. At 32mm scale, he reads clearly as a small-but-imposing figure — a natural boss encounter piece or a commanding addition to any display shelf.
A sound choice for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding Underdark boss or Duergar faction leader for their campaign
- Are running a deep mountain dungeon or forge-city adventure arc
- Want a characterful fighter or paladin miniature for a grey dwarf player character
- Collect fantasy dwarves and armoured warriors for display
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen mining charter from a rogue Duergar clan — but when they finally reach the warlord's hall, they find him seated on a throne of broken siege equipment, fully armoured, warhammer resting across his knees, and forty soldiers ranked behind him. He already knows why they've come. He's been expecting them for a week.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative base are separate pieces — a small amount of super glue will secure them together. The base is designed to complement the figure, and the two are sculpted to work as a pair. Support marks are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor imperfections can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
